Biography:

Brian E. Engel is a shareholder with King Hershey. Mr. Engel is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law. He received his undergraduate degree in journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Journalism. He is licensed in Missouri and Kansas.

Prior to joining King Hershey in 1999, Mr. Engel served as a law clerk to Judge Robert W. Berrey, III, with the Missouri Court of Appeals, Western District.

Mr. Engel focuses his practice on commercial real estate transactions and development, land use and zoning, and public finance. Mr. Engel has gained significant experience forming and administering transportation development districts and community improvement districts.

Mr. Engel also provides legal services to the Land Clearance for Redevelopment Authority of Kansas City, Missouri, pertaining to its mission to clear and prevent blight and blighting conditions within the city.
